3 Different Ways To Use Protein Powder (Recipes Included!)

Ways to Use Protein Powder

You don’t have to be some kind of elite athlete to use protein powder. In fact, it’s important that you’re getting your daily dose of protein in every meal to help keep your bones strong, build muscle, and help your body repair cells and make new ones.

As most of you probably know, I am a lifelong vegetarian and have struggled with my weight  in the past. It wasn’t until I actually sat down and really looked at what I was eating that I realized I was not giving my body the proper amount of protein and nutrients it needed.

After adding protein into my diet, I found it much easier to lose weight and just feel better overall.

There are so many benefits to using protein, but it can be difficult to find new ways to make sure you’re getting enough of it. Here are 3 different ways to use protein powder!

Meal Replacement Shakes

We all know how important it is to start the day with a healthy, well-rounded breakfast. But, if you’re anything like me, your mornings are usually pretty hectic and the last thing on your mind is breakfast.

That’s when I turn to my handy-dandy blender and whip up a delicious smoothie. I throw in whatever fruits & veggies I’m in the mood for, or let’s be honest, whatever I have in my fridge at the time.

Making a smoothie is the quickest and yummiest way to get in your fruits & veggies for the morning.

I also usually like to throw in a superfood powder to get an extra serving of fruits & veggies that I wouldn’t normally get with my breakfast.

Here are a few smoothie recipes I have been loving lately:
