I'm a new mom and bought this hoping to lose some unwanted weight from pregnancy while maintaining my milk supply. I'm more than halfway through the program and I love it. But, I haven't lost any weight. I've toned up (lost about 6 inches all over so far). So that's why I'm still giving it 4/5 stars. I'm on the line with giving it 3 though- because I feel like my milk supply is dropping. It would be nice to know how many calories a day we are consuming (or per meal)- not just the grams of protein, carbs, and fat- while following the meal plan. That would really help me figure out why this is affecting my milk supply. The food/recipes are okay. I've basically stuck with the same 4 or 5 options throughout. The workouts are quick and I always feel sore the next day. And Bree is super motivating and positive in each video- which I enjoy. Another thing that disappoints me about this program is it's really only 3 weeks of workouts, since weeks 1&2 are the same, 3&4 are the same and 5&6 are the same. Besides that, I feel like I'm learning a lot of good information about how to workout my postpartum body. Which, I can benefit from forever.
After several rounds of both Nicole's and Bree's 15 day challenge, I was ready for a change of pace and ordered the 6 week program. I am two weeks in and enjoying it. I like the set up of exercise brackets better than the other programs, and you can still modify down if the moves are too hard. The meal plan is pretty easy to follow and cost effective with mostly ingredients you already have. While not seeing a difference in the mirror yet, the scale and the tape measure are changing slowly!
This program is amazing. I'm on week 4 and have lost 5 pounds and 7 inches.
I have done MULTIPLE different workout programs and this is by far one of my favorites!! I will coming back to this one for a challenge.
I went through Nicole's 15 day Fit Mommy Challenge a couple of times. The fact that it wasn't an even two weeks threw me a little bit when I wanted to start over, and the length of the challenge gave me an excuse to say "I'm done!" and beg off. Having looked for a 6 week option from her for a few months, I was really excited to see her finally release her 6 Week Fit Mommy Challenge in May. The exercise videos and booklets are easy to use. I love that you get modifications for almost all the movements to suit any level of fitness. There are even modifications for those who prefer resistance bands to of free weights (of if you're on vacation!) Including a 5 minute warm-up and 10 minute cool-down, it usually takes me about 45 minutes to complete my workouts each day (WITH some rewinding here and there). Nicole has paired this with an extremely flexible meal plan where she has done all the work: no counting calories, just pick a meal or snack and go. They're also tasty enough for my picky toddlers and husband to enjoy so I don't have to make more than one dinner each night. For those who need accountability, the closed Facebook group is great. Along with being able to ask questions directly to trainers, you can pick up ideas, tips or motivational support from others who are going through the challenge with you. Follow Mommy Trainer on Facebook and Instagram, and you'll get even more bang for you buck with Facebook live videos hosted by Nicole answering common questions and concerns. Being halfway through, I have really enjoyed following this program. I've even begun to see visible results in such a short period of time. My body is noticeably stronger, and I have more energy to keep up with my little ones. Can't wait to get through the second half and start again.
I love this challenge! The workouts are tough Quick and effective and the meal plan is great and easy to follow. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for an awesome all round plan.
I absolutely love the Mommy Trainer 6 week Fit Mommy Challenge EBook. It has everything you need to complete the challenge. I reference it multiples times a week for workout finishers and recipes. I would highly recommend this program!
