This is the best tasting protein powder!! I’ve tried many others, and this outweighs them all. I like to add frozen cherries and ice and blend it up for a treat!!
The taste is off - I mix mine in a blender with 8oz water, a few ice cubes, and just a hint of almond milk for consistency, and it doesn't help at all. It's so chalky. It's in-your-face chocolate overload (some people like that I guess?). But the consistency is hard to get past. I have to drink it with a straw, and that is still sometimes difficult. I'm glad to have tried it, but I won't be purchasing again.
This is my 3rd container of the ideal Raw chocolate. I have to say I am disappointed, as this last order doesn't have the same great taste as the first two I got. They must have changed the formula a bit, and it did not help! It's still ok, just not as good as it used to be.
Husband and I love this flavor! Been using it for a few years now, occasionally trying other out brands. Hands down, THIS is the best chocolate plant-based protein powder we’ve found. Mixes/blends extremely smooth and we like it on its own or with added fruits/veggies for a meal replacement. Have used both water and nut milks, and it’s creamy either way. Very versatile, tastes great, and the ingredients make us happy. We use it to fill in our protein needs, and even our kids have been known to steal away our shake cups. Five stars for us!
This protein blend is great! I definitely feel less sore when I drink it after a workout. It tastes pretty good, as far as protein shakes go. Also, there's no bloated stomach feeling. Just the good stuff.
IdealRaw protein powder has the best flavor profile of any I’ve tried. So good. Even tastes good mixed in water. I use daily in green smoothies. Would be 5+stars if had 20+ Grams protein per serving
Love the chocolate protein! I wasn’t a fan of vanilla and mocha was ok but I would not order again. Chocolate for the win! I hated the cashew coconut protein bars and once you open the box you can’t return, I have to figure out how to mix them to eat them, they where not cheap.
I loooove this protein powder! Not grainy at all when mixed into things. I use it in my overnight oats and it the best breakfast ever!!! 😋😊💕
Love that it does not have a weird after taste.
first off, i never write reviews. secondly, i am queen of the vegan protein powder mug cake and am constantly in search of the best one. ideal raw chocolate makes a pretty dang good one. i'm in good shape but recently started counting macros to keep my weight in check and for less than 200 cals i can get a super delish (EASY) mug cake (that i make in a bowl): a scoop of ideal raw choc, pinch of xantham gum, 1/4c cashew milk, and 20 dairy free choc chips. mix all together and nuke it for 1-1.5 min. i then stick it in the fridge for 5-10 min to cool. if i have extra macros i add a 1/2 cup of low cal dairy free ice cream. it's so gooey and yummy. i'm buying vanilla and choc peanut butter flavors next bc they have half the carbs as the chocolate and let's be real- every carb counts. enjoy! 9F / 15C / 15 P
